Breakfast Treat to try!!

Here is a link to a breakfast treat I think everyone should try. It is quite tasty and easy to make. It is a Puffy Oven Pancake...that Betty really knows her stuff! It is great with fresh strawberries and powdered sugar, but I like it plain too. It tastes great with some Johnsonville Maple Syrup Sausage on the side. Yes, I decided I like sausage. Sure is different than the yucky airplane sausage I remember from my childhood.

Ben turned 28 last weekend and enjoyed some golf, a nap and a yummy dinner at you guessed it...the Mellow Mushroom! He is trying to complete their 100 beer club before we move...I think he is at 15.

We have been having fun building forts, playing in the sandbox, and watching the US Open!! Go Roddick!!!! Nora reads tennis magazine on the potty and can actually recognize some of the players. Her favorite is Davystinko.

Here are some super cute pictures of the girls in their pony tails!

I have been trying my darnedest to get them both in one picture where one isn't crying or tackling the other, but they aren't really at a cooperative age!

Oh man, you're funny mommy!

Probably the only time I will hear that!! I usually hear "NO" or "I have to go potty."

We had a nice visit with Uncle Don when he was here. We ate some good food and just "hung out." We went to the Mellow Mushroom (my favorite!) and visited Fort Moultrie. Of course it was 800 degrees, but it was still fun!

Big girls

It hit me as I was wandering around Walmart trying to find clothes for Nora in the baby section that I don't have babies anymore...I have little girls!

Morgan is walking all over and sometimes looks like Frankenstein with her arms straight out. Nora walks behind her saying "I'm going to get you" hmmm, I wonder where she learned that...

Funniest of all!

So I totally forgot the funniest thing she did...we had company over for dinner last week and we were cleaning up after dinner...the next thing I know Nora is naked in the tiny bathroom sink taking a bath!!! It is really amazing how much trouble she can get into in 5 minutes!

Yesterday we went to see the Angel Oak Tree on John's Island. We went because my sweet cousin Lynne found a postcard from there in one of my Grandma Lacock's old photo albums. It was so cool! The tree is between 1,400 and 1,500 years old and creates 17,000 square feet of shade, which is much appreciated around here!

Funny things a 2 year old does...

...puts monkeys in the fridge, yells at Morgan "Listen to me, LISTEN", says "Are you kidding me?" when the umpire calls a strike a ball, gets squeezed into her sisters swimsuit by her Aunt...well Miss Nora has been quite funny lately! She has also been wearing her big girl panties and has been doing very well!

Morgan is so close to walking, in fact I think she does it all the time when I'm not looking! She is also eating real food. It is so nice to be able to feed the girls the same thing, Morgan's just gets cut into more pieces.

Ben has been improving his golf game quite a bit and we are enjoying having some family time together before he starts school in September. Then he will be very busy!

I often think of things throughout the day that would be funny to post, like the big toad that lives in my garage or the lizard that "tickles me", but then I don't have time to post...
